Most folks like to cite the movie “Idiocracy” as an unwitting documentary. I like to fall back on Isaac Asimov’s observation, three decades ago, that for too many people “democracy means that ‘my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’” What the Good Doctor would have thought of social media, one can only imagine.
