To the great surprise of no one except the people who should have learned better from experience, the revenue projections from property taxes on the natural gas pipelines aren’t going to be as big as predicted — nor should anyone have been surprised by the fact that the pipeline companies want those taxes reduced, before a single ccf of gas has flowed.
