Forced to admit a historic pile downtown was just barely holding itself up, the city of Sandusky, Ohio, has decided to examine all its “landmark” structures. Pretty sure the local architectural prevention (I mean, historic preservation) society will make things tedious. There’s a faction in town that doesn’t so much beat dead horses as feed, water and stable them, dismissing all complaints about the flies and the smell if you’re not “from here.”
